Hey Cindy, Great timing, there's a new spine and barcode label printing module that we're nearly done with. Have a look here: http://koha.liblime.com/cgi-bin/koha/label-home.pl There should be an announcement on koha-devel in the next day or two with details on how to install it, use it, etc. Cheers, -- Joshua Ferraro VENDOR SERVICES FOR OPEN-SOURCE SOFTWARE President, Technology migration, training, maintenance, support LibLime Featuring Koha Open-Source ILS jmf@liblime.com |Full Demos at http://liblime.com/koha |1(888)KohaILS On Thu, Apr 13, 2006 at 04:44:03PM -0400, Cindy Murdock wrote:
Hey all,
Here's a question for the libraries using Koha: what do you use to print spine labels? With our old circ system, we have a cataloging program that generates the labels as books are catalogued and sends them to a dot-matrix printer. We were wondering what other libraries do, since once we migrate to Koha we probably will use the cataloging in Koha instead. Is anybody using computer-connected label printers, like the ones Dymo makes?
Thanks! cindy -- _________________________ Cindy Murdock Network Administrator Meadville Public Library | Crawford County Federated Library System meadvillelibrary.org | ccfls.org
