Check the syspref AllowOnShelfHolds and please, please do read the manual (e.g. http://koha-community.org/files/2010/02/wayne-state-university-koha-3.0-refe rence-manual.pdf, p. 26 or http://koha-community.org/documentation/3-2-manual/index.php?ch=c19#AEN486, which is for 3.2, but this feature works the same).

Ok on client interface i have button but only if books is check out. My question now is it is normal that i can't place hold on a books witch is not check out? So i can reserve only books witch are not avainable at the moment?
Hi I can't "Place Hold" on item which is not check Out(by admin interface). On check out item i can Place Hold(by admin interface). It is normal? I can't Place Hold in client interface (127.0.1.1) becouse there is no Place Hold button. So my question is : Koha 3 have reservation books by client or not? I use last stable official version (3.00. ... ) and ubuntu 10.4.
