Dear Vinod My personal views as koha community user and part of volunteer LIS for koha it is not really a fit solution rather it will kill the spirit of community , contribution and volunteerism I.e many koha support providers are doing and free to do customization as per local need and if they think it is use full after some period they can push their customized features to community version QA to add if needed I would rather welcome if some koha support companies in India took you idea and do as I mentioned aforesaid On Sat, Feb 17, 2018 at 12:00 PM <koha-request@lists.katipo.co.nz> wrote:

Dear all/Koha users,
As you know at present by default all the category of patrons can either place purchase suggestions or not via opac but many educational institutes only allow purchase suggestion by the faculty or some specific category of users. Similarly in public and other libraries children’s may not be allowed for purchase suggestions or lower level of non technical/teaching staffs in special libraries. Hence this restriction is very much needed which is applicable for all libraries globally. As per discussion and email one of the leading Koha supporter/Developer L2C2 from India ( http://www.l2c2.co.in/) is ready to develop the said feature and the charge would be only Rs. 20000/- (Approx USD 280). Hence i am ready to pay Rs. 5000 and expecting some more contributors with a minimum of Rs. 1000. Kindly give your details through google form <https://goo.gl/forms/8Z7zKrF3etK45AFq1> if you are willing to be part of this voluntary support. For more details please visit at: http://mishravk.com/2018/02/crowdfunding/
Please note that this is the correct method for getting the new feature in Koha so that amount once paid the benefit will reach globally. I know many of the good features has been added by Koha vendors on huge payment basis specially by Indian government libraries but benefit never came to public domain, which is against the open source ethics in my view. Please approach your vendor to make such code public if you have already paid for it.
With Regards,
