Thank you, I will try again. It still does seem rather convoluted. I tried and had the patrons working but could not search, every search resulted in "no items found". But, eventually I will get it, I think....
Where is the search showing no items found, opac or both staff client & OPAC. if it's OPAC them it may likely be the hide lost items system preferences (OPAC). Try changing this to display lost items and opac searches shows up. i had a similar problem after the upgrade olugbenga Adara
