Dear Chris
We are using MARC21. However, it seems that we can see the number appear in the MARC view of the staff client or the OPAC.
You can or you can't? It will be in the url biblionumber=somenumber :)
Is there something I need to do in the MARC Bibliographic Frameworks?
Yes it will be hidden by default, you will need to change that if you want it to show Chris

Dear all
I would like to know whether there is a system generated id number in every bibliographic/authority record in Koha 3.0? Which tag is used?
It is different in UNIMARC and in MARC21. You can find out where it's stored by looking at the koha to marc mapping, at /cgi-bin/koha/admin/koha2marclinks.pl in your librarian interface. For MARC21 we use 999$c by default.
