Hi, I am a little late, but I tired to create an advanced pattern for this. I got it working up to issue number 48, but the lat 3 issues are not correct, the problem being that the second number changes after 25 issues, which is not the middle of the cycle. Maybe you could fix them manually, and then restart the pattern the following year. If nothing else works using an irregular pattern is sometimes helpful, where you enter the right numbering at the time the issue arrives. What I did: First issue publication date: 01/01/2018 Frequency: 1/week Subscription length: issues 52 Subscription end date: 31/12/2018 Numbering pattern: volume, number, issue (start with that, but change it a new one on saving) Begins with: 1, 389, 10064 Show advanced pattern / Edit advanced pattern Numbering formula: {X}.vol no {Y} iss no {Z} Label: (whatever you want) X (begins with to when more than): 1, 1, 1, 1, 51, empty Y: 389, 1, 24, 1, 9999 Z: 10064, 1, 1, 1, 9999 Results in: 1.vol no 389 iss no 10064 01/01/2018 2.vol no 389 iss no 10065 08/01/2018 3.vol no 389 iss no 10066 15/01/2018 4.vol no 389 iss no 10067 22/01/2018 5.vol no 389 iss no 10068 29/01/2018 6.vol no 389 iss no 10069 05/02/2018 7.vol no 389 iss no 10070 12/02/2018 8.vol no 389 iss no 10071 19/02/2018 9.vol no 389 iss no 10072 26/02/2018 10.vol no 389 iss no 10073 05/03/2018 11.vol no 389 iss no 10074 12/03/2018 12.vol no 389 iss no 10075 19/03/2018 13.vol no 389 iss no 10076 26/03/2018 14.vol no 389 iss no 10077 02/04/2018 15.vol no 389 iss no 10078 09/04/2018 16.vol no 389 iss no 10079 16/04/2018 17.vol no 389 iss no 10080 23/04/2018 18.vol no 389 iss no 10081 30/04/2018 19.vol no 389 iss no 10082 07/05/2018 20.vol no 389 iss no 10083 14/05/2018 21.vol no 389 iss no 10084 21/05/2018 22.vol no 389 iss no 10085 28/05/2018 23.vol no 389 iss no 10086 04/06/2018 24.vol no 389 iss no 10087 11/06/2018 25.vol no 390 iss no 10088 18/06/2018 26.vol no 390 iss no 10089 25/06/2018 27.vol no 390 iss no 10090 02/07/2018 28.vol no 390 iss no 10091 09/07/2018 29.vol no 390 iss no 10092 16/07/2018 30.vol no 390 iss no 10093 23/07/2018 31.vol no 390 iss no 10094 30/07/2018 32.vol no 390 iss no 10095 06/08/2018 33.vol no 390 iss no 10096 13/08/2018 34.vol no 390 iss no 10097 20/08/2018 35.vol no 390 iss no 10098 27/08/2018 36.vol no 390 iss no 10099 03/09/2018 37.vol no 390 iss no 10100 10/09/2018 38.vol no 390 iss no 10101 17/09/2018 39.vol no 390 iss no 10102 24/09/2018 40.vol no 390 iss no 10103 01/10/2018 41.vol no 390 iss no 10104 08/10/2018 42.vol no 390 iss no 10105 15/10/2018 43.vol no 390 iss no 10106 22/10/2018 44.vol no 390 iss no 10107 29/10/2018 45.vol no 390 iss no 10108 05/11/2018 46.vol no 390 iss no 10109 12/11/2018 47.vol no 390 iss no 10110 19/11/2018 48.vol no 390 iss no 10111 26/11/2018 49.vol no 391 iss no 10112 03/12/2018 50.vol no 391 iss no 10113 10/12/2018 51.vol no 391 iss no 10114 17/12/2018 Hope this helps, Katrin On 15.12.2017 08:11, pariyaram central library wrote:
Hello....
I am a fresher in koha and now carrying out the serial section and I have a doubt regarding the serial planning. Now I am doing a journal LANCET which is a weekly having 51 issues and the vol changes with 25th issue but the issue no is continuous up to 51. my problem is the issue no has got 5 digits and in the prediction pattern while giving 10064 in BEGINS WITH column OF ISSUE NO and while going to the test prediction pattern, it will begin with 10064 but the next issue will be numbered 1 next issue will be numbered 2 and so on. The actual pattern in which the journal arrives is mentioned below.ie
1.vol no 389 iss no 10064 2.vol no 389 iss no 10065 3.vol no 389 iss no 10066 4.vol no 389 iss no 10067 5.vol no 389 iss no 10068 . . . . . 25.vol no 390 iss no 10089 . . . . 51.vol no 390 iss no 10115
