Betsy, Which version of Koha are you using? Liz Rea NEKLS On Apr 1, 2011, at 2:27 PM, Kelly, Betsy wrote:
Why does Koha allow one to delete an item record that is in use!? It should be simple enough to check it's status before permitting the record to be deleted. It does that with patron records, why not item records?

Hi, Can anyone help me please? ? I have a problem with some of my circulation records. The patron checkout session shows that an item is checked out to a patron but there are no item details, just a due date, which I can't get rid of. The (non-existent)? item can't be checked in.? Can anyone suggest how to remove these?
Hi Sharon
I have seen this happen before when an item has been deleted, while it was still on issue. I don't know of a way in Koha to get these off the record. The easiest way is to do it in the database.
