Hello Thank you very much for this fast answer. I will try to explain why we need more addresses. Our Institution, called blista www.blista.de is a boarding school. In our institution we have pupils, they are registered with always two addresses. One is the address of their parents and the second is the address of the group in our school where they life. So it is very often that as a standard two addresses we give them when they come in our library. A third address could be perhaps an address of their grand parents where they spend their holidays etc. Another address could be one of a flat where they life for a short time but we know that they will go back in the first one. Besides many of our users give us an address to which we have to send braille books and another we have to send their magazines, another where they often spend their holidays, another which we have to use to send them the talking books and an address of a hospital in which they longer have to stay. All this addresses we have to manage because our users change between them. I hope I could describe my problem. Thank you for the information about accessibility! I'm looking forward also to discuss about standards. Best regards Andrea Andrea Katemann Leiterin der Deutschen Blinden-Bibliothek Deutsche Blindenstudienanstalt e.V. 1. As already said we are mainly a shipping library. For this reason We need more than three addresses per customer. We have so far understood that you can create three addresses in Koha. Is it possible to expand the program by the way that you can create 6 to 8 addresses per user? Can you explain more why do you need so much addresses per user ? In Koha you can add free text fields if you want: https://koha-community.org/manual/16.11/html/ch02s03.html#patronattributetyp...
2. In our library also work blind and visually impaired employees. First tests from Koha have shown us that the system is quite usable for this clientele. We assume that there is still need for adjustment. Would it be conceivable that our ideas on accessibility would be assured in the further development of Koha?
Well, if you send fixes and patch on this topic [or you pay developers for them] you need to follow this workflow: https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Development_workflow. Speaking about standard of accessibility is a very good idea [we love standars]. We think that the Opac is Ok on accessibility, Intranet not so well. But you can probably write a more complete report about this topic.
