Another thing to be wary of is that a lot of sites will create title records with no items for electronic resources -- things that are only available online. Those titles need to be protected from a global delete as well. If you are using acquisitions, and have it set to create items on receipt, it will delete biblios that you may have on order. The same goes with serials. There is a bulk item delete tool (http://koha-community.org/documentation/3-2-manual/?ch=x5580) in Koha 3.2, but not a bulk bib delete tool ... yet :)
