[Koha] ILLs on Koha?

Hi All, Just trying to find out what is happening with interlibrary loans and Koha. I'm on 3.6 (and hoping for an upgrade soon) and I wondered if anyone has worked out a way to manage ILLs on Koha without an ILL module. I know one can't supress records on the opac, so I'm just looking at creating a temporary record and deleting this when the ILL is complete. Any suggestions?
