Hello,
What i did in basic steps where
1. Installed Koha 3.0 and ensured everything is ok.
2. I dropped the tables in 3.0 and imported the tables from my 2.2.9 install into it.
3. I now followed the upgrade guide from running installer/data/mysql/update22to30.pl.
4. I guess one will still have to do some cleanups. e.g. i was unable to search in opac bcos of hide lost items OPAC systems preferences.
I can't get the searching going at all... No match on anything anywhere...
I hope this helps. You can just give it a try since it does not touch the 2.2.9 install. I could always go back to my previous 2.2.9 by just changing my koha-httpd.conf file since my db name for both installs were different.
Thanks for the help. It got me a bit further.
By the way, my install is on opensuse 11.0 and NoZebra
I'm on Ubuntu 8.04

Hello all,
I've just finished upgrading of koha 2.2.9 to 3.0. following the 22 to 30 guide on the wiki.
Can you please give me some advise on how to run that guide? I can't follow it as I don't understand what to ru and when. I have set up 3.0.1 and have a 2.2.9 dump that I want to incorporate to the new 3.0.1. Can I use the 22_to_30 in that scenario? What parts do I run? Do I have to load the 2.2.9 into MySQL and the run some of the Perl scripts? In that case, which of them?
