Hi All, When trying to import MARC records into Koha using the bulkmarcimport script, about 6% of the records get added to the biblio and biblioitem tables with just the biblionumber and biblioitemnumber incremented, and the rest of the fields being "NULL" (except for the timestamp data). These items are also totally absent from the items table. Random checks indicate that they are not being added correctly to the marc_word table either, although they are entered there. Anybody else noticing this? Below is a listing of a typical MARC record that is missed. Is there something in this cataloguing that is screwing up Perl? I have noticed that a majority of the missing records have "cn" as the first values in the "001" field. ______________________________________________________________________ 001 $ $cn 88094114 008 $ $880426s1988 oncac b 00110 eng d 015 $ a $C88-94114-6 020 $ ac $0385251505 :$$29.95 035 $ a $(WaOLN)4955878 040 $ abcd $CaOTU$eng$CaOTU$CaOONL 043 $ a $n-cn--- 055 00 $ ab $FC176$C64 1988 055 01 $ a $FC176 082 0 $ a2 $001.9/0971$19 100 10 $ ad $Colombo, John Robert,$1936- 245 10 $ abc $Mysterious Canada :$strange sights, extraordinary events, and peculiar places /$John Robert Colombo. 260 0 $ abc $Toronto :$Doubleday Canada,$c1988. 263 $ a $8811 300 $ abc $xii, 436 p. :$ill., ports. ;$26 cm. 500 $ a $Includes index. 504 $ a $Bibliography: p. 420-424. 650 0 $ az $Curiosities and wonders$Canada. 651 0 $ ax $Canada$Miscellanea. 651 0 $ axx $Canada$History$Miscellanea. 650 6 $ az $Curiositâes et merveilles$Canada. 651 6 $ ax $Canada$Miscellanâees. 651 6 $ axx $Canada$Histoire$Miscellanâees. 852 $ phi98 $100022$001.930971$Col$29.95$19960712 ______________________________________________________________________ -- Larry Stamm, Chair McBride and District Public Library McBride, BC V0J 2E0 Canada http://www.mcbridebc.org/library
