^^^ this you need to fix. The error is because you have managed to mess up your instance's koha-conf.xml :-( The easiest way IMHO would be generate a dummy instance and copy over the relevant part of the plugin from the new dummy instance's koha-conf.xml and changing the instance reference to your actual instance when you do the overwrite. You are following out-dated instructions. Vimal's blog post which was useful when published it, refers to way things were back in v 3.12 which is like 11 versions OR 5+ years old.
Things have changed. Please refer to the "Plugin system" section of your Koha user manual.
