Dear Chris We are using MARC21. However, it seems that we can see the number appear in the MARC view of the staff client or the OPAC. Is there something I need to do in the MARC Bibliographic Frameworks? Regards Henry On Tue, Dec 15, 2009 at 2:08 PM, Chris Cormack <chris@bigballofwax.co.nz>wrote:

Dear all
I would like to know whether there is a system generated id number in every bibliographic/authority record in Koha 3.0? Which tag is used?
It is different in UNIMARC and in MARC21. You can find out where it's stored by looking at the koha to marc mapping, at /cgi-bin/koha/admin/koha2marclinks.pl in your librarian interface. For MARC21 we use 999$c by default.
