Gidday Elizabeth I have not yet used a scanner but as far as I've seen, they plug into the keyboard plug, and then the keyboard plug piggybacks into that. All the scanner does is emulate keypresses so if I understand it correctly, no software involved, the PC does not know that you used a scanner rather than the keyboard. Hello...We are just beginning to explore installing Koha as our ILS. (Currently we have none.) We are running a Linux network, affiliated with the K12LTSP project (www.k12ltsp.org). I'm wondering about bar code scanners and bar codes. Are there any scanners that you know work with Koha? We want to buy the most economical obviously, but want it to work, and most of them appear to be plug and play. Any suggestions? Thanks...
