What you describe is related to bug 24215 (Warnings about guarantor relationships show ARRAY errors) and bug 24263 (borrowers.relationship should not contain an empty string). One is already in 19.11.02, the other one is waiting for QA.
I was finding some other bugs in Bugzilla concenrning frameworks, but not 24315. Now, as I see, the little problem will be fixed in Koha 19.11.02 already, great! Thanks & a Happy New Year!
