Another solution to upgrade Koha 2 to 3 is that,

1. Export all records as MARC-21 using Export option. 2. Export user details from database as csv file. 3. Edit the MARC-21 using MARC Edit software. 4. Install latest version of Koha. 5. Import the marc file

While this works, you need to make sure you get the issues table, accountlines, acquistions etc. There are a lot more tables than just the borrowers. So it just depends how much data you want to keep. Chris
