Not a problem in our Koha, I have tried more than one type of barcode style from Koha. You probably need to set your scanner to read the barcode type that you are printing in Koha. You should have a user manual for the scanner that says how to allow different types of barcode (codabar.code 39/Plessey etc) to be scanned, and displayed. Make sure that the scanner has your choice of barcode type enabled. Agnes Davita Janto wrote:
Hi
We are able to scan barcodes printed on books using a barcode scanner however unable to scan barcodes generated by Koha via label/patron creator. Is this a known issue or is there a config setting that I should check? Or is there a workaround for this issue?
Thank you. Davita.
