Hi Thnaks to the Development Team for their hard work on fixes. It would be nice if the strings done could be accepted immediately --if it isn't a time taking process--, and the the string freeze date could be postponed to 23 June allowing us a WEEKEND TO WORK, apart from the two weeks which will be allowed after the stable release. We have completed the translation of the staff file into Turkish in addition to OPAC file, but would like to make some corrections and fill gaps which occurred during move from Alpha to Beta. Below is the list of team members for translation into Turkish for record. Cheers Selma Aslan Kutuphane ve Dokumantasyon Muduru TOBB Ekonomi ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi Selma Aslan Asir Doganer Doc. Based on the feedback to my last post announcing a proposed release date I've decided to hold off for a week and aim for Friday the 20th as the RC1 / string freeze date. I'm still hopeful that we'll have the final release ready for July 1st. In terms of statistics, we're down to 35 bugs marked blocker, major or critical (down from 39 on May 21): http://tinyurl.com/5hysmf There are now 159 marked 'normal' (up from 157 on May 21): http://tinyurl.com/3lmp67 So in summary, we had a lot of new bugs added, and fixed, so though there has been activity, it doesn't look like it on paper :-). The entire LibLime development team will be working exclusively on bugfixing this week and I'm hopeful we'll be in a position to release on Friday. Feel free to join the effort, we'll be on IRC all week! Thanks again to all the contributors to this release.
