You might try the following on the command line: Disable the default apache site: sudo a2dissite default restart apache: apache2ctl restart Only guessing, but it sounds like you've got competing sites on port 80. Liz Rea lrea@nekls.org On Jun 22, 2011, at 4:47 AM, teleute wrote:
Hello,
I have just installed Koha 3.4.1 in a Linode virtual private server and I can access the staff client without problems, but I can't access the OPAC.
I have tried entering the ip and the port 8081 (xxx.xx.xxx.xxx:8081), and it says "404 not found". If I try the port 80, it says "it works! This is the default web page for this server. The web server software is running but no content has been added, yet." (the apache message)
This is the first time I use a virtual server, so I feel a bit lost. I would like to make the OPAC the homepage of my site, but I don't know how. I would appreciate your help.
Thank you very much :)
