Hi again, Unfortunately, I've had the opportunity to look into this further over the weekend, and I don't think I'll be using Koha. It would require substantial customization to meet my needs, and I'm no expert at Perl or the Koha source code. Instead, I put together some software over the weekend that handles the requirements I had. The biggest needs I had that Koha wasn't providing were loaning of bulk items (where I have one database entry for, say, a few hundred identical items, and members can check out whatever quantity they need) and tracking the distribution of consumable items that don't need to be returned. It also would have been a pain to remove all the due date tracking from Koha, which I also don't want. Guess I'm not close enough to a typical library. Oh well! Koha seems like a great piece of software for real libraries that deal primarily in books. :) I wish you all the best of luck. -- www.designacourse.com The Easiest Way to Train Anyone... Anywhere.
