Kia ora koutou All my items being 'new' (because I have imported them into Koha recently) are marked as Proc in the shelf location field. Is there any way I can change them to 'cart' besides scanning them all in one at a time in order for them to go back to their normal locations. As I issue each item it appears to be deleting the location field. I have found how to restore the fields doing a sql search, but I don't really want to be doing this for the whole collection.
You can use the batch item modification to change them all. Im not sure why they all got set to Proc when you imported, thats not something that normally happens, unless they had proc set in the MARC when you imported them, but that's an aside. Batch item modification should let you change the shelf location for them all. You can do a report to a get a list of all the barcodes then use that to select the items to change.
