Yep, If we can get a hold of good working image. (vmware has a free utility that will turn a working server into a virtual server which can then run on VMware server or ESX Server) Let me know if when you will have time available. ________________________________ From: Jim Kronebusch [mailto:jim@winonacotter.org] Sent: Tue 5/22/2007 12:27 PM To: Piet Slaghekke Subject: Re: [Koha] Koha Virtual Appliance On Tue, 22 May 2007 08:26:19 -0700 (PDT), Piet Slaghekke wrote
Hi Jim,
I think this is a great idea!!
Check out this site http://www.rpath.com/rbuilder/ which allows you to build a virtual appliance that will auto update etc.. this would be great for koha!!
If we can get a team together we could create such an appliance, what do you think?
I would like to see this done as well. I am working on some other projects right now but when I get a chance I would like to do this. It really shouldn't be that hard, a person just needs a working Koha to start with and some instructions on how/what to change to personalize. -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by the Cotter Technology Department, and is believed to be clean.
