[Koha] Reseting the database and MARC upload question

Hi: I've been doing some tests uploading some MARC records to the database, both using the bulkmarcimport script and uploading a MARC file to the deposit. - Which is the difference between uploading records with bulkmarcimport and uploading a MARC file from the Intranet? - How can I reset the database in order to clear all book and item info?
