[Koha] Using both barcode number and accession number in Koha

Dear All, I would like to know whether we can use both Accession Number and Barcode in Koha. Accession is simple number series whereas barcode is customized like BK000001 something. Accession number is used for the patron to easily identify the book number, barcode is used for the fast / easy circulation process. Need your help.
