We are transitioning to Koha and are in the process of setting up our email "overdue notice" template. We've been told there is one notice sent for each item on the account... so if a patron had 5 overdue books, he/she would receive 5 seperate emails. Has anyone found a solution for this problem?

The overdue notices cron job bundles all overdue items together and sends one email per patron. Maybe you are thinking of the item due notice instead (which can be set up to send before the item is overdue)
