[Koha] Karanga Mai | Call for Presentations for Kohacon25 Now Open!

Kia ora koutou,
We're very happy to announce that the call for presentations for KohaCon25
is now open! As Koha returns to Aotearoa for its 25th birthday, we're keen
to hear your stories and insights for both our conference sessions and
working together days.
## Te Kaupapa | Theme
Our theme is "Coming Home" as we celebrate a quarter-century of Koha. We're
particularly interested in presentations that:
- Share success stories from your Koha journey
- Highlight how Koha has grown and evolved since its beginnings in
Horowhenua
- Showcase innovative ways libraries are using Koha
- Reflect on the impact of open source in libraries
- Look towards the next 25 years of Koha
## Conference Days (17-19 November)
We welcome presentations ranging from 15 minutes to 1 hour, including:
- Feature showcases
- Case studies
- Community stories
- Future visions
- Lightning talks
## Working Together Days (21-23 November)
We're seeking workshop proposals for our hands-on sessions, such as:
- Technical workshops
- Development sprints
- Documentation improvements
- Training sessions
- Community initiatives
- Collaborative problem-solving
## Ngā Kōrero | Presentation Details
- All presentations will be in-person at Te Whanganui-a-Tara | Wellington
- Sessions will be live-streamed for our global whānau
- When submitting, please indicate your preferred time length and session
type
## Tukua Mai | How to Submit
Submit your proposal through our online form at
https://cfp.kohacon.org/forms/kohacon25-talks-submission-lfe0lb by 1 March
2025. Your submission should include:
- Title of your presentation or workshop
- Abstract
- Session type (conference talk or workshop)
- Preferred length
- Brief bio
- Any technical requirements
## Important Dates
- Submissions close: 1 March 2025
- Presenters notified: 15 March 2025
