[Koha] Question about changing the material type in a Koha record

I haven't been cataloging very long, and so I am still learning. Can
someone please tell me how to change the material type in a Koha record? In
our basic records, I cannot access the 336, 337 and 338 tags.
Can you still change the material type without those tags ?
