[Koha] Serials and Variable Frequencies

    Thanks for your comments.

    I think we will have to agree to disagree about the purpose of the
serials modules. My library and other libraries I have worked in use the
serials module to check in serial issues to help us track which issues have
arrived, which issues are due, and contacting the vendor and publisher when
issues are late enough to earn our concern. After all, the libraries have
paid good money for the subscriptions; and out patrons expect them to
arrive in a more-or-less timely fashion.

    My question was whether Koha can handle multiple frequencies of
serials, e.g., Starlog that had several publishing frequencies over the
course of its run. I also know of a few academic journals whose frequencies
changed over the course of their runs for various reasons.

    If you don't know the answer, that's fine. I'll experiment on a clone
of our machine and report back to the Koha community through this forum.
