Hello everyone!

We had an interesting meeting today with colleagues who do training or
who are interested in Koha education.

Here are the main points we talked about :

- None of us have used the training resources wiki pages we created last
time, but we figured we'd leave them there as reference in case other
people are using them.

- We talked about how the Documentation Plan might support training and
the production of training material.

     - We would like to be able to easily reuse the manual as training
manual; David Nind will do a test with something simple like loans to
see if we can export the manual as custom training material

     - David Nind will also check about how licensing can affect this

     - Ideally, we would like to reformat the manual to make it easily
reusable as training material by taking different approaches (such as
how-to's for single tasks, reference sections, concept explanations and
troubleshooting sections) and also cater to different learning styles by
incorporating screenshots, (links to) videos if available, and text.

     - Also, we would like the docs team to find a way to create
permanent links to topics in the manual in order to refer to those
topics regardless of the version in blog posts or other materials.

     - Finally, it was suggested that we incorporate a Glossary in the
manual to make searching easier when users are not sure of the terminology.

- And lastly, though it is not directly tied to training, we talked
about the idea of creating promotional texts or FAQ's for decision
makers looking to switch to Koha.

The next meeting will take place on April 14 at 19 UTC.

Thanks to all those who participated and thanks to ByWater Solutions for
hosting the meeting in Zoom!
