Hi Charles
I don't know if you can do the replacement/truncate the 952 from koha but
you can doit directly in mysq with a query like:

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/7481361/how-to-remove-part-of-string-in-mysql
Of course you need to work the sample query to suit your needs.
