[Koha] Koha Digest, Vol 153, Issue 14

Holds wrapper is a sheet of paper that is generated in the ILS, printed as
a hold and wrapped around the book/dvd/audio book or?. It has limited
information for privacy but enough that the patron knows the item is one
that they placed on hold.

When the patron checks out - they take the item to the check out station
and are good to go - if they accidentally pulled the wrong item, they are
not allowed to continue with the checkout process but must contact a staff
member for help.

With holds wrappers, library staff can shelve library holds in a location
on the library floor for patrons to self serve - eliminating the need for:
Patron: "Hello, I am here to pick up my hold"
Staff: "Do you have a library card?"

Holds wraps are just a way for patrons to help themselves with simple
tasks.
