[Koha] Storage engine type pending_offline_operations

Hi,
     Does anyone have know why pending_offline_operations is using
MyISAM as it's storage engine? It seems to be the only table left using
it. 
It's a small concern when considering database backup procedures -
table locking specifically. I see some old bugs relating to this table
but nothing specifically discussing the storage engine.
