Hi Dave,

it's always good to start with filing a bug report on bugzilla. I'd also 
suggest to review the existing bugs for Elasticsearch, to check if your 
problem has already been found and is being worked on. Testing some of 
those bugs would also help a lot!

There is an omnibus bug that will help you find other linked bugs 
relating to Elastic:
