Hi Greg,

As far as I know Ubuntu should have the IP addresses in the same place as Debian.  Did you check in /etc/network/interfaces ?

You don't say which distro you are using.  On my Debian install, I have the IP addresses I use statically defined in /etc/network/interfaces .  I would check there first.
