[Koha] Advice on barcode replacement/central catalog

Greetings,

If you are merely importing MARC records, then why not batch update them in 
MARC Edit first, before importing into Koha?

I'm not sure what functionality in MARC Edit would pre-append something to 
the barcode like SITEA, SITEB, SITEC, etc., but I'm pretty sure that 
functionality exists.
