[Koha] [Koha-devel] Any bugs you want worked on? (Christopher Davis)

Hi Chris,

Thanks for this wonderful offer! Bywater partners have been discussing on the listserv how it would be great to have the circulation report wizard working properly. There are three related bugs, one of which was recently signed off on 1/7. I tagged them so the academy can take a look.

http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=9351
http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=9532
http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=11463

We would be glad to test any related patches here at Mercyhurst.

Thank you,
Rebecca

Chris,

Thank you for the offer for your coding camp to squash Koha bugs. I would like to submit http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=6427?to the list of bugs if it has not already been submitted.

Hi all

In a few weeks the next batch of bright young things will be participating in the catalyst open source academy.

http://www.catalyst.net.nz/show-and-tell/open-source-academy

Every year a team of 14-17 year olds does some work on Koha, fixing bugs, testing, etc.

So in the preparation to the academy I encourage you all to tag any bugs you would like them to look at as 'academy' in bugzilla.

Thanks for your help

Yes.

No, there are not too many limitations, imo.

It depends on what you want to do.

RFID programs are usually written to conform to the SIP II standard.

We are using "CIRC-IT" from Tech-Logic.

Do you know what the name of this program is? They've not told us a thing about it, but it really sounds like something we might be able to use.

We are about to implement RFID with 3M. So far, in test mode, everything is
working well, though we experienced some very long checkout times (Koha
taking a long time to record the checkout of materials).

If anyone implemented RFID with 3M, I would be grateful for any comments or
advice on any issues to watch out for.

Regards,
Sebastian
