[Koha] Communicating with Koha Session variables

Hi All,

I would like to create a web app using php that should communicate with Koha
ILS for authentication purposes. 
Can anyone provide the information on how I can talk to the session or
cookie variables in koha.

Your help will be very beneficial to our library.
