[Koha] Suggestion regarding library presentation

Ideas and suggestions for future development:

Provide a convenient way for the visitor to browse a library, as one does in a real library: proceed to the row of shelves that contain the subject the visitor is interested in (i.e. display in koha a tree/list of the top-level DDC categories) and then browse through the items in the specific shelves (i.e. the items that belong to the DCC category selected, and those that follow them).

I understand that such an ability already exists in some limited form (in OPAC, once the visitor has zoomed-in a book) but is described as resource-intensive in the koha administration panel.
