Reading the wiki and plenty of old enquiries from other people, but I still
can't find what's wrong with my settings...
Tha's what my "item due" line looks like (not the other lines! I just found
that screenshot on the internet, it's not from me):

I have just reall all the system preferences and all the administration
block and about everything ever written on koha notifications...

If you have any idea, I wouldn't mind trying about anything.

Cheers,

Sonia.

Can someone point me or share with us a good guide of how to modify some of
the html pages within the OPAC to replace the logs, and some other text
presentation elements?

I'm hoping that the frame work is contained in a number of HTML template
shells and CSS files. That would make modifications much easier

Thanks

Hi Karam

Biblibre look after the lists.koha-community.org server, so they will need
to do that for you.
But if you let me know the ip number you plan to put your
ar.koha-community.org site on then I can set up dns to point to that.

I assume you will want to bring it up to date and link back to the main site
for downloads/git etc eh?

Chris

Hi Sonia,

your problem looks familiar - is it possible you are missing some of the
mandatory sample data?

The following tables should all have some sample content in order for the
enhanced messages to work correctly:

- message attribues (6)
- message_transport_type (4)
- message_transports (14)

You can check in your reports module. If the configuration there is missing,
that could perhaps explain your problems.

Hope this helps,

Katrin

I think vimal's live cd is already configured. You only need to point to the
IP of where you installed your koha machine. So just go to the terminal of
the Linux machine then ifconfig it. You will see the ip address of your
computer, then just point to that ipaddress from your client computers. for
koha administrator just add :8080.

Hi,

As I read your message, I got it to work :D.

Thanks to everyone for your help, especially Vidal. I greatly appreciated
it.

The original instructions worked, I must've mistyped the IP at one stage.

Dear All,

I tried the bulkmarcimport.pl with -b -d -i options, but it were
unsuccessfully becouse of:
-- "-d" options truncate commands were failed with foreign key violatoins
-- "-i" option did not find the ISBN in the database

The program did not died when the truncates did not succeded and the already
existent records duplicated!

How can I do a successfully batch import ?

Thanks,
Attila.

http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.6/en/truncate-table.html
TRUNCATE TABLE fails for an InnoDB table if there are any FOREIGN KEY
constraints from other tables that reference the table.

This is a good place to start:
http://manual.koha-community.org/3.8/en/impopac.html It lists all the
customization preference (I hope) and has some images of what regions
are editable where.
