[Koha] Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock'

Good day everyone!

I am currently experiencing:Koha error

The following fatal error has occurred:

Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket
'/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2) at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Context.pm
line 666.

I've tried Google-ing some "resolutions" to this kind of problem, but any
of it didn't work.
In this error says that, "mysqld.sock" is not found.
When I go to the /var/run/mysqld/ directory, and type *ls*, no file is
contained.
But when we try to *locate*, it tells us that the mysqld.sock is in that
particular directory.

we have no backup of the database.
We really need to retrieve it.
Please help.. :(
