I believe we actually require 5.10 at this point. The INSTALL files
should be updated to reflect that.

IIRC 3.2.x was the last branch that used 5.8.8.

Kind Regards,
Chris

Hi,

We are moving to Koha and are on a test version
	3.05.00.011

Diacritics do not display correctly. R?sum? becomes raesumae ; espa?ol
?becomes espaanol. How does one get diacritics to display properly?

Also being a cataloger I was trying to edit a record that had the bad
diacritics and found that I do not know how to add diacritics to a record.
I am used to a dropdown menu that lists/shows diacritics to insert. How
does one add diacritics to a record?

Thanks,

Hi

I have recently installed my backed up koha files and database on my laptop
for demonstration purposes. Everything went on well. However, If I do a
title search for a book in the database I am getting the following:

No results match your search for "kw,wrdl: Introduction to Software
Engineering" in catalogue

Is there something I should run to re-index the database? What should I do
to make Items in the catalogue searchable on OPAC

Thanks for the info. I was hoping not to have to use the codes. Dang!

???

?????? Hopefully this part will actually be helpful. :) If you google in
extended ASCII chart, you'll find a tonne, including

http://www.asciitable.com/

??? ?? You can either cheat and copy and paste from the table OR you can
learn the code + ALT key combinations. Bear in mind that you're not meant to
use the numerals above qwerty but rather the number pad to the right. Some
times you needs fidget with the numlock key.

Cheers,
Brooke
