The matter of data hijacking by evil vendors is a mute point in this
argument. It can very easily be addressed in a well written support
contract (which is also a form of coercion btw). The switch to AGPL 3
would be in no way motivated by the desire to secure, either directly
or indirectly, the end user's data. Users who are (for whatever
reason) not motivated to red line such things in their support
contracts must sleep in the proverbial bed they have made and should
do so without complaint to the community.

Kind Regards,
Chris
