[Koha] upload patron images

hi
when try to uploading a patron images i got this error .. i searched for 3
days but every thing failed any help , i'm using GD 2.45
Software error:

Can't locate object method "newFromJpeg" via package "GD::Image" at
/usr/local/lib/perl/5.10.1/GD/Image.pm line 81.
