[Koha] bulkimport as xml

Everyone,
Has anyone had any success importing items in MARCXML format using the  "-m MARCXML" option for bulkmarcimport.pl?  I can't seem to get it to work.  I don't get an error message, but it does have
deleting biblios
0 records done.
Any insight/suggestions would be appreciated.
