Hi Everyone!

I am very pleased to report that today's Koha meeting at Goodwin College was
a great success, and was another fantastic collaboration of local Koha
user's experiences and thoughts. I would like to thank Marilyn Nowlan at
Goodwin College for her wonderful presentation, as well as the CT Library
Consortium and everyone who attended to help make this meeting a success. I
look forward to the upcoming meeting hosted by the wonderful folks at
Bibliomation in December regarding their Evergreen migration. Let's keep the
momentum going!

Cheers and have a great weekend!

That is a very nasty problem probably related to zebra indexer. It is
not related with browser.

We have the same problem but didn't have time to cope with it properly,
so we just rebuld zebra index from time to time with -r option.
(rebuld_zebra.pl -b -r).
This is not very satisfactory solution because our database is arround
300.000 recods so it takes some time and during that time the catalog
search is not available. We do this during the night.

During the day we run 'rebuld_zebra.pl -b -z' every 4 minutes insted of
running zebraque deamon, as recommended.

Does anybody have the same problem and the proper solution?

Regards,
Marijana

Hello all.

I want to set up a function to send emails to all the overdue patrons. I
guess the feature is already done by the perl scripts in the cronjobs
folder.

The main thing I wanted to do was to change the email template. I could not
find which file to edit for this. Is there an admin option to do this?

Any file including the code would also help.

Please Help.

Thank you.

Are you using version 3.x ? If so, the configuration of email notices
can be found under Tools -> Notices.

I'm trying to print barcode labels and have a funny little problem: I can't
get Koha to generate any bibliographic information on my label--just
barcodes with the number. I even set the layout type to "biblio only" and
just got a blank page!

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Chris Morrison

What version of Koha are you running?

Is it zebra or nozebra?

Are you running 3.0.4? or earlier?

Are the problems only with the call number splitting?

If so, please submit samples of the call numbers that are failing to
split properly (include the numbering system you use ie. DDN LCCN
etc.) as a comment on bug 2500
(http://bugs.koha.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=2500)

Are there any associated errors in koha-error_log?

Also, can you attach pdfs to this thread showing the problems.

Kind Regards,
Chris

In the StaffClient program,
in the patron's account, under Fines, under Create Manual Invoice

There are several types to choose from, such as
Account Management Fee
Cancel Credit
Checkout Fee
etc.

Is there a place/way to create a new type of fee (or even to adjust the
current types)?

Thank you.

We've done some development for this -- see

http://bugs.koha.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=3476

The patch was sent in July but has not yet made it into head.
