[Koha] Global due date not working

Hello,

I have set a global due date in KOHA since we are approaching end of
the semester. However, it's not coming through. The item due date is
still in place.

Can anyone help me where I can have gone wrong?

I have checked that the date system we use (us) are set and the date
is set according to that.
