[Koha] 2.2.9 upgrade to 3.0 opac search issues

Can you please give me some advise on how to run that guide? I can't 
follow it as I don't understand what to ru and when. I have set up 3.0.1 
and have a 2.2.9 dump that I want to incorporate to the new 3.0.1. Can I 
  use the 22_to_30 in that scenario? What parts do I run? Do I have to 
load the 2.2.9 into MySQL and the run some of the Perl scripts? In that 
case, which of them?
