[Koha] table structures

This information is sort of what I'm looking for. 

Here's the difficulty:  We are moving to Koha 3.0 and don't want to lose the Virtual shelves in 2.2.9.  There are 3 tables in 2.2.9 for patron info.  We are trying to find how this information is moved into Koha 3.0.

Also, there is a column/row for marcxml, how is this populated?
