[Koha] Error in adding member

Hi all,

While adding a new member do we have to enter registration and expiration
date.But,in the labels for the same ,i.e Start date and end date it
says , *Joining
Date(leave blank for today) & Expiry Date(Leave Blank for autocalc).*
Is there* *any system preferance setting for autocalc to work?
